Before you start

  • Use artwork you own or have permission to mint. Keep your original files and a backup.
  • Connect a wallet such as Backpack on Gorbagana. Hold enough GOR for account storage and transaction fees.
  • Put images at stable, public HTTPS, IPFS or Arweave URLs. Junkheap stores the signed metadata; your existing storage provider hosts the artwork.
  • For a new collection, use a dedicated creator wallet. A wallet can register one collection.

Create a single NFT

Best for one artwork or adding a member to an existing collection.

    Prepare your image

    Export the finished artwork and upload it with your storage provider. Copy its public image URL. A private link, an expiring download, or a ZIP archive is not a permanent artwork URL.

    Fill in the NFT details

    Open Create → Mint single NFT. Enter a name, symbol, description, image URL, category, and creator royalty. Names fit 32 UTF-8 bytes, symbols fit 10, and royalties range from 0–10%.

    To add a collection member, use the original creator wallet, paste its organizer mint into Parent collection mint, and choose traits from that collection’s permanent catalogue. Leave the parent empty for a standalone piece. Standalone minting does not automatically register a tradable collection.

    Review and mint

    Check the preview and every field. Sign the metadata message, then review and approve the mint transaction in your wallet. The artwork URL, metadata, and traits are permanent once published. Keep the page open while the transaction confirms and save its receipt.

    Check readiness, then list

    For a registered collection member, use Index for marketplace if needed. Once the NFT is eligible and visible in your profile, choose a price and approve a separate listing transaction. Minting itself does not list or sell the artwork.

    Starting a collection manually? First use Create collection to mint an organizer with its complete trait catalogue, then select Check and launch collection on its receipt. Use its mint address as the parent for each member.

Launch a bulk collection

You do not need to upload or enter every artwork individually. Generate your set, upload the image folder with your storage provider, then import a CSV/JSON manifest or select all individual metadata JSON files in the wizard.

The wizard creates a new collection organizer and its members. It mints to your creator wallet; it is not a public mint sale, an airdrop, or an automatic listing service. If minting is temporarily unavailable, you can still prepare and export your launch and check saved progress. Finishing a partially minted collection waits until minting access is available again.

    Generate and inspect the collection

    Prepare your trait layers, choose rarity rules and valid combinations, and export the finished images with metadata. Inspect the full set for unwanted duplicates, missing layers, and mismatched traits. Give each intended edition its own name.

    Host the image folder

    Upload the full folder to your existing IPFS, Arweave or public HTTPS provider. For example, an IPFS folder can contain ipfs://YOUR_CID/1.png and ipfs://YOUR_CID/2.png. Keep the content publicly available and IPFS content pinned.

    The bulk importer rejects private/local addresses, credentials, temporary query tokens and unsafe file paths. Junkheap does not buy a storage plan or upload artwork for you. An accepted URL is not proof that every image is reachable; inspect the previews and your full export.

    Import once and review

    Open the bulk launch wizard. If your image fields are filenames such as 1.png, enter the artwork folder URL first. Then choose a CSV, a combined JSON manifest, or multiple individual JSON metadata files. Select only metadata files, not raw images or both a combined manifest and its individual copies.

    Imports support 1–10,000 members and up to 20 MB total. CSV requires name and image; description and columns like trait:Background are optional. JSON uses name, image, optional description, and an attributes array of trait_type/value pairs. Download the wizard’s example CSV to start.

    The wizard checks every row, builds the trait catalogue, flags reused image links, and shows paginated artwork previews. The collection supports six trait types and 255 values per type. The catalogue’s spelling, values and order become permanent.

    Set collection details and save a backup

    Enter the collection name, symbol, cover URL, category, description and royalty. The symbol, category and royalty apply to every member. Connect the dedicated creator wallet, then choose Save & review launch.

    Review the estimated total, which includes the organizer and each member’s account storage and network fees. Download the launch backup before publishing. It contains public metadata and recovery receipts, never private keys. Publication fixes this launch’s content; to revise an unpublished draft, return to My launches and prepare a new one.

    After you approve publication, anyone holding this backup can publish its exact approved metadata. Only your wallet can authorize minting. Keep the backup private if the artwork has not been revealed yet.

  5. 05

    Create the organizer

    Choose Publish launch & review organizer. Sign the message approving the complete launch metadata. The wizard publishes the organizer metadata and simulates its mint. Review the exact GOR debit, then choose Approve in wallet and confirm the transaction.

    After finality, the next batch step asks for the collection launch message if needed. Junkheap verifies the organizer and its marketplace registration. Registered collections appear in Explore as Unverified; their creator has a Creator badge. This identifies the creator’s role and is separate from collection verification or endorsement.

  6. 06

    Mint at your own pace

    Choose Review next batch. The wizard publishes that batch’s metadata and simulates its cost. Approve up to five separate mint transactions in a supported wallet; wallets without batch signing mint one member at a time. Each NFT still pays its own network fee and account storage.

    Keep the page open until progress updates. No later batch starts without your review and wallet approval. After an interruption, reconnect the same wallet, open Resume a saved launch, and choose Check progress. On another device, restore your backup. If the backup is older than your last mint, use Scan all mint addresses.

    Unresolved transactions must settle or expire before the wizard retries. A retry uses the same planned mint address. Do not start a new launch to recover an existing one. Save an updated backup at the end of each session.

  7. 07

    Finish marketplace checks

    The progress panel distinguishes minted NFTs from those ready for the marketplace. Check progress retries indexing without minting again. Export the mint report to keep a row for each NFT’s address and transaction receipt. Once all members are minted and eligible, open your profile to list them through the normal flow.

If something is pending

  • Wallet rejected or disconnected: reconnect the original creator wallet and check progress before another approval.
  • Some transactions submitted: already submitted transactions can finish after Pause. Check progress; the next batch excludes finalized mints.
  • Storage is full or unavailable: minting stops before broadcasting without a saved receipt. Preserve your backup and restore browser storage.
  • Minted but not listed in the marketplace: retry Check progress and allow the indexer to catch up. Listing remains a separate wallet transaction.
  • Creation is paused: keep the launch and backup. Resume when creation reopens; another organizer will not resolve the pause.

The linked tools are independent services. Their prices and limits can change. Use their artwork and storage features, then use Junkheap for Gorbagana minting; a tool’s minting support on another chain does not establish Gorbagana compatibility.
